Java Java Basics Getting Started with Java Introduction to Your Tools

any one who knows how to download java on macbook air please give me a link hope to hear from you soon guys..

about how to download java

"For Java versions 6 and below, Apple supplies their own version of Java. For Mac OS X 10.6 and below, use the Software Update feature (available on the Apple menu) to check that you have the most up-to-date version of Java 6 for your Mac. For issues related to Apple Java 6 on Mac, contact Apple Support. Oracle and Java.com only support Java 7 and later, and only on 64 bit systems."

Otherwise I'd go to Java.com

You mean download Java on MacOS.

If you are using Eclipse or its other builds (except Luna) it is important that you download and install this version of Java (JDK 6) provided by Apple Java OS X 2014 - Apple Support

But if you want to use the latest build of Java use this link to download
Oracle Java JDK
At current its Java Version 8 Update 25. Click on Install JDK choose your target i.e. MacOS 64 or 32 depending on your system and install.

I have personally installed both the Java version and switch when I need to

Hope this helps
