Any experience on Affinity products?

Hello there! Does anyone have any experience on Affinity Photo and Designer? I have stopped using Adobe Suite Photoshop and Illustrator (too pricey I think). So I was wondering on buying this two, other suggestions people have gave me are Pixelmator instead of Photo and Sketch instead of Designer, but I think they are rather different, maybe Sketch more for UI and Designer for graphic design. Any comments help. Thanks!!!! (:

I also found Adobe products to be too expensive (and slow). I switched to Affinity a couple of years ago and it's brilliant. Easy to use and I keep finding new ways to do things. They have published a couple of books which are useful, too and the developers update the product often (at no extra cost to the user).

The only problem is that if you're working for other design firms that probably use Adobe, there are issues with sharing your work as they can only open your documents as a pdf (unless someone can comment on that?).

I think they are doing a special deal at the moment, and it's cheap enough anyway. Take a look at my designs, they are all designed in Affinity - https://www.thecubelab.co.uk
