Python Python Basics (2015) Python Data Types String Formatting

Annoying Bummer!

Bummer! Be sure to use the {} placeholder and the .format() method.

strings.py
name = 'Mahmoud'
subject = 'Treehouse loves {}'
subject.format(name)

1 Answer

What it wants you to do is add your name (from the name variable) to the string "Treehouse loves" There's no need for the second subject! like this:

name = "Charlie" subject = "Treehouse loves {}".format(name)

Alright, thanks
