Android Studio Emulator Error

Hello, I keep getting this error when I try to run a Virtual Device even tho HAXM is installed and I have an intel chip.

Emulator: emulator: ERROR: x86 emulation currently requires hardware acceleration!

Check your AVD settings and make sure your laptop or desktop can actually handle HAMX. Also you could try uninstalling and re-installing. If neither one of those work, you should just plug your phone into your laptop or desktop and test the app from your phone. (FUN way)

Just checked, my laptop can run HAXM. Tried uninstalling and re-installing multiple times, still the same issue. I have an iPhone, so that option is out of the window.
