android app runs when run through android studio but not when installed via the .apk file of the same app

i have made an android app on android studio, it works fine when i run it through the android studio on emulators and on my android device , although when i install the file directly on my phone or emulator through the .apk file of the application it doesnt run even on the same devcices.
