an error message keeps appearing on this stage ,I can not seem to get past it

the error is making it hard to process my answer. it reads : there was a communication problem.if you continue experiencing problems contact support

fear not your code is safe with us.You will be able to resubmit once you reload the challenge.

when I reload nothing is changing,my answer is not being processed and im stuck on this first code challenge

I found an issue with your code in your image tag, this could've caused some server-side issues. Your line should read

<img src="images/spain.jpg" alt="A picture of me in Spain">

Other than that. I would close out of workspaces and re-open them. Sometimes that helps.
