let li = document.getElementsByTagName('li')[0];
firstListItem.removeChild('first item');

- the "removeChild" method should be called on the parent ("myList" instead of "firstListItem")
- the argument should be the item to remove ("firstListItem" instead of "
'first item'
") - you won't need to create the additional "li" variable
