HTML How to Make a Website HTML First Use HTML Elements

Adding the header and body tags

Do you know why this is incorrect? It is telling me "don't forget the header."

<!DOCTYPE html> <html> <head></head> <body></body </html>

The header is a separate tag. Judging by the title of your post, I get the feeling your code should look something like this:

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
  <head>
  </head>
  <body>
    <header>
    </header>
  </body>
</html>

This is probably more correct than mine.

I assume you need: <html> <head></head> </html>

<!DOCTYPE html> is just the doctype declaration

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
  <head>
  </head>
  <body>
  </body>
</html>
            ```
Got it! Thanks guys!
