Add # to userName and lasName

I can not figure this out I have tried a few different ways now and I can not get the correct answer. Can some one please Help

var lastName = "Smith";

var userName = id.toUpperCase();
id +'#'+ lastName.toUpperCase();

You almost had it. Just combine both of your solutions.

var userName= id.toUpperCase() + "#" + lastName.toUpperCase();

no problem, man.
