Hi,

I have task 2 of 3 and I wrote this code and it told me that's wrong:

var answer = prompt("What is the best programming language?"); if (answer.toUpperCase()==='JAVASCRIPT') { alert("You are correct"); }

I can't move to the task 3 of 3. What's wrong with my code?

You are pretty close to solving this you did not however have to account for case sensitive answers, you have gone above and beyond on your answer.

The correct answer needed to progress to question 3/3 is as follows.

var answer = prompt("What is the best programming language?");

if (answer === 'JavaScript' ) {
  alert("you are correct")
}

Good day,

It's not working because the code is looking for "JavaScript" for the answer, not JAVASCRIPT. It's case sensitive.

Try this:

var answer = prompt ('What is the best programming language?');
if ( answer === 'JavaScript' ) {
  alert ("You are correct");
}
