25,370 PointsNo need for the extra variable. All you need to do for this is pass true into the if statement like this:
if ( true) {
alert('This is true');
} else {
alert('This is false');
}

25,370 PointsJust so you know though, there is no issue with your code. That is properly formatted Javascript which does work in any other situation. It's just not what they were looking for in this code challenge.
