Appending the new paragraph to the content div?

How to solve this challenge? I am trying like this: `` newParagraph.appendChild(.content); p.appendChild(.content); newParagraph.appendChild('content');

None of this works, would appreciate some help and explonation.. ``

app.js
const contentDiv = document.getElementById("content");
let newParagraph  = document.createElement('p');
newParagraph.className = 'panel';
newParagraph.appendChild(div);
index.html
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
    <head>
        <title>DOM Manipulation</title>
    </head>
    <link rel="stylesheet" href="style.css" />
    <body>
        <div id="content">

The problem is your appending it to the child element. It should be appended to the parent element which is contentDiv because this is where you wanted to add the new element.

Try this

contentDiv.appendChild(newParagraph);

Hope this help.
