JavaScript JavaScript Loops, Arrays and Objects Tracking Multiple Items with Arrays Iterating through an Array

Not sure what I'm doing wrong in this challenge. Error message is: "The items in the array weren't logged out in order."

Using for loop

var temperatures = [100,90,99,80,70,65,30,10];

function currentTemp (list) {
  for (var i=0; i < list.length; i+=1) {
    console.log(i);
  }
}

currentTemp(temperatures);

Hi Deana,

You forgot to log the numbers from the array, you are currently logging the index number. You just need to add the array with '[i]' to pull out the numbers.

var temperatures = [100,90,99,80,70,65,30,10];

function currentTemp (list) {
  for (var i=0; i < list.length; i+=1) {
    console.log(temperatures[i]);
  }
}

currentTemp(temperatures);

Actually, in your case you are passing the Array into the function as the variable 'list', so you could log this instead of the 'temperatures'. This will make it more customisable.

  console.log(list[i]);
