Concatenation not working for dictionaries?

I am wanting to add Rocky Road to the dictionary of iceCream flavors. var iceCream = ["CC": "Chocolate Chip", "AP": "Apple Pie", "PB": "Peanut Butter"] iceCream = iceCream + ["RR": "Rocky Road"]

I tried doing this and it is not working. Does this mean that concatenation does not work for dictionaries but work for arrays?

Try doing the following and see what you get

iceCream ["RR"] =["Rocky Road"]

// OR

iceCream.append("RR" : "Rocky Road")
